Long
Island Craft Beer Week (LICBW) is a collaborative venture created to raise awareness of
the thriving local craft beer culture and promote patronage at local establishments.
Uniting local breweries, restaurants, retailers, bars and business partners with beer
enthusiasts, Long Island Craft Beer Week is a 10-day island-wide celebration of beer, the
making of beer and the enjoyment of beer.
Long
Island Craft Beer Week will be filled with entertaining and educational beer
events—including special events such as meet the brewer nights, beer dinners, brewery
tours, cooking with beer classes, beer tastings and more will be hosted by participating
breweries, bars and restaurant owners.
Whether
it is our award-winning breweries, our amazing local bars and taverns, our outstanding
restaurants or our fast-growing local beer scene, the first Long Island Craft Beer Week
will unite beer lovers from “The Island” and beyond. It
will focus on our hometown breweries yet will also celebrate award-winning national craft
breweries and promote locations where they can be enjoyed locally.
Long
Island Craft Beer Week is a non-profit organization overseen by an executive board
comprised of brewery owners, distributors, restaurateurs, retailers, event marketers. The
executive board will oversee the distribution of net proceeds to both local and national

Fork Event of the Year in 2007, the North Fork Craft Beer, BBQ & Wine Festival
returns to the beautiful Martha Clara Vineyard this year on Saturday, August 11th. This
fun-filled event will showcase the finest craft breweries - more than 50 in all = from
across the country and will pair them with outstanding BBQ prepared by Maple Tree BBQ and
award-winning local wines. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample Long Island's
best craft beers but also craft beers from national and international craft breweries.
The event takes place rain or shine and the fields will have multiple tents to house
attendees, breweries, wineries and special vendors. Weather permitting, the middle of the
field will have tables and chairs for your comfort and enjoyment. Mystery Play will also
be on hand performing live throughout the day. They are a 6-piece band that covers both
classic and current rock, pop, funk and dance music. The festival will help raise money
for the Beer For Brains Foundation and the Kent Animal Shelter.
VIP Session:
1-6PM Includes an additional hour (1-2PM) where the VIP guests and ticket holders will be
able to talk to brewers and taste special beers the breweries have reserved for this
session only and will not be served to the general session attendees. Tickets are $80 per
person (advanced purchase) and includes a souvenir tasting glass marked with a 2oz. pour
line, admission to a special one-hour meet and greet with brewers, beer tasting and BBQ
sandwich and side dish.
General
Admission Session: 2-6PM Gates open at 1:30PM for ticket and processing with first pour
beginning at 2PM. Tickets are $55 per person when purchased online in advance and if
available, tickets will be $70 at the door the day of the event. Price includes a
souvenir tasting glass market with a 2oz. pour line, beer tasting and a BBQ sandwich and
side dish. (Designated driver tickets will be available for $15 and will include a BBQ
sandwich, side dish and bottle of water.)
