This year the three hosting organizations decided to put a new twist on the much anticipated gala fundraiser by having restaurants receive recognition for their unique creative talents. Awards were given for "most creative dish," "the best table presentation," "the tastiest dish," and "the people's choice award."
The premiere tasting event featured three renowned chefs as special judges such as Chef Luca Manfe (2013 Master Chef Winner), Chef Barret Beyer (Hell's Kitchen Contestant), and Chef Rob Burmeister (Chopped & Cutthroat Kitchen Contestant) along with Anna and Michael of Long Island Restaurant Review.
Guests enjoyed the diverse delights of thirty different eateries, restaurants and bakeries. Attendees also sampled offerings from Long Island's finest vineyards, microbreweries and purveyors of fine spirits making this the ideal event for mingling
