3rd Annual Chef's Nite Out

The Third Annual Chef’s Nite Out organized by the Syosset Chamber Of Commerce held at the beautiful Fox Hollow in Woodbury on October 6th 2010 was an intimate evening of elegance.  This “Nite Out” was billed as an event where guests could “Taste, Sample and Drink The Best Our Town Has To Offer”. 

 

One of the culinary highlights of the evening was presented by Angelina’s II Restaurant of Syosset (above right) that provided superb Braised Short Ribs.  The spicy tuna (below left) from nearby Mim’s Restaurant (below center) was wonderfully fresh with just the right amount of heat.

   

Salmon en crouté (above right) offered by Capriccio Restaurant of Hicksville was a delicately prepared creation that delighted attendees.  Another knockout item they brought was Crème Ingles that was a fabulously light egg white meringue. 

 

The Farfalle Bolognese created by Osteria Toscana (above left) was also a big hit among many who attended. The well-known Leonetti Pastry Shop (above right) brought some delicious pastries that were heavenly treats (below). 

   

New to the scene was Donnie’s Omelette House (below left) generously handing out their shops specialties as well.  Other generous businesses in attendance were Encore Personal Chef’s (below center), Cardinali Uno (below right), and Syosset Wine Cellar.
