A
Grand Gourmet Event to benefit Cure Pancreatic Cancer – Lustgarden Foundation, was held
at Oheka Castle in Cold Spring Hills on May 6, 2010. This spectacular event honored Don
Hewitt- American television news producer, executive and creator of the CBS Program, 60
Minutes. Hewitt sadly succumbed to pancreatic cancer in 2009.
This
occasion was Cure Pancreatic Cancer – Lustgarden Foundation’s kickoff event for their
2010 fundraising calendar of events. Hundreds of generous guests enjoyed a relaxing
evening of food, friends and fun. Numerous local businesses participated and donated their
time and their cuisine for this great cause.
