The 20th Annual Great Chefs of Long Island, hosted by the Family Service League, took place December 2nd at the elegant Crest Hollow Country Club. The Family Service League has been helping individuals, children and families to mobilize their strengths and improve the quality of their lives at home, in the workplace and in the community, for over 85 years.

This year, the Family Service League honored Michael Dowling, the President and CEO of North Shore-LIJ Health System, with the Fay J. Lindner Humanitarian Award for providing world-class clinical care throughout the New York metropolitan area. Also honored were the Reststar Hospitality Group for Restaurateur of the Year, and NYS Assemblyman Philip Ramos, with the Government Leadership Award.

Previous Great Chefs of Long Island events featured a plethora of restaurants and wineries alongside some of their more delectable offerings. This event held true to that fashion, with more than 40 restaurants and chefs participating with their signature dishes and many fantastic wines from around the world.
