The
19th Annual
Great Chefs of Long Island event was held on Sunday, December 5th
2010 at the elegant Crest Hollow Country Club. Family Service League holds this charitable
event each year to raise money for their comprehensive not-for-profit human service
agency. The Family Service League has been responding to the needs of individuals and
families for roughly 85 years and their 46 programs provide support and direct assistance
to more than 47,000 people annually.
A
number of talented, local Long Island chefs donated their time and their wonderful
creations to showcase their skills in hopes to raise a substantial amount of money for a
well deserving cause. American Classic Ice Cream, Copenhagen Bakery, In The Mood Coffee
& Ice Cream and Sweet Karma Desserts provided the fabulous desserts for this event.
Along with the extraordinary foods and desserts were a wide variety of wines provided by
Long Island wineries and distributors. Listed
below are a handful of participating establishments that took part in this outstanding,
charitable event.
