There were over 30 various restaurants vying for the guests' attention and enticing them with sushi rolls, fresh oysters, scallops, short rib, and other mouthwatering concoctions. Attendees were also invited to sample libations from top liquor and spirits companies. When dessert time drew near, bakeries welcomed everyone to try their exquisite baked goods.
A luxury live auction led by CBS News Anchor Chris Wragge, urged the crowd to bid and raise money for the international organization dedicated to preventing and curing cancer. Samuel Waxman, M.D., the Founder and CEO of SWCRF, also spoke a few words promising to continue his research and "Kick Cancer's Butt". The evening also honored two philanthropists Marc J. Leder, co-CEO, Sun Capital Partners and Bobby Zarin, Chairman, Zarin Fabrics and Real Estate Developer.
