Long Island Food Critic

The 4th Annual Long Island Hospitality Ball was held at the Crest Hollow Country Club where 2,700 beautifully dressed attendees sampled cuisine and libations from local restaurants, wineries, and liquor companies. This event was held to support the American Cancer Society.

The elegantly dressed attendees indulged on exquisite cuisine and libations from over 50 different restaurants and 65 liquor companies serving their finest. This year's Hospitality Ball was the best to date with wonderful live music and perfect weather.

Keith Hart the creator and LIHB Chairman went on to say, "It amazes me how all of these establishments are so selfless at a time where most everyone is fighting to stay afloat …I could not be more proud of everyone who participated their time, money and staff to make 2014 the best Ball to date".

The night boasted a live auction, raising over $32,000 and a raffle where attendees got the chance to win a various selection of delightful prizes.

Delicious dessert was served with coffee and tea by local bakeries and dessert shops as the evening drew to close on this yearly extravaganza.

The American Cancer Society is the largest volunteer organization in the United States devoted to preventing cancer and helping individuals and families affected by cancer.
