The
Mill Neck Manor Fall Harvest Festival also known as the Apple Festival attracts many
visitors to the Mill Neck Manor School For The Deaf each year. This years Fall Festival
was held on October 10 & 11, 2009 from 9 am to 5 pm. Ripe apples, handmade crafts,
seasonable produce, hot food such as grilled bratwurst from Karl Ehmer, a variety of
cheeses in the Cheese House, and children’s activities were among some of the
festivities found at this years event. All proceeds from the event go to benefit the
Mill Neck Manor School For The Deaf.
