Annual Taste & Toast The Town
|
The
8th Annual Taste & Toast The Town was held at the
elegant Chateau Briand on Wednesday, September 14th. This
event was held to benefit The United States Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County (UCPN).
The UCPN is an admirable association that enjoys the distinction of being known as one of the nation’s pre-eminent non-profit health care agencies. They serve individuals not only with cerebral palsy, but others challenged by a variety of other disabilities as well. Guests were welcomed into a tropically themed, South Beach atmosphere set up on the outdoor patio at the Chateau Briand. Everyone strolled in between swaying palm trees while enjoying the culinary delights and beverages supplied by a myriad of restaurants, bakeries and wine and spirits establishments. Restaurants also competed in a competition in which their best dishes were judged and critiqued by members of the American Culinary Federation of Long Island. Fantastic musical entertainment was also available compliments of the Andre Phillips Caribbean Band and contemporary jazz guitarist, Matt Marshak. Displayed below are a number of generous establishments who provided both food and beverage throughout the evening.
