Long Island Food Critic

This year's 13th Annual Taste & Toast The Town benefitted the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc. (UCPN). The event took place at the elegant Chateau Briand in Carle Place where patrons indulged in culinary delights and libations from a myriad of restaurants, bakeries, wine and spirit establishments.

The restaurants in attendance included The Paleo Factory, Serendipi Tea, Matteos, Oyster Bay Brewing Co., Iavarone Bros., and DJ Chef.

While guests enjoyed fine dining and entertainment provided by Andre Phillips Caribbean Band and Matt Marshak, the raffle drawings and wine, restaurant and dessert awards were presented. This year's first place entree was awarded to Seventh Street Cafe.

With its 13th consecutive year in the books, Taste & Toast The Town continues to not only serve as a delightful evening, but also honors the hard work of the UCPN, an association that supports individuals and their families suffering from the effects of Cerebral Palsy.
