Wednesday, October 25, 2017

The 3rd Annual Taste of Hope Gala was held at the New York Institute of Technology's de Seversky Mansion in Old Westbury and benefited CN Guidance & Counseling Services, which for 45 years, has helped those struggling with mental health and substance use disorders to recover.

Guests enjoyed tastings from the area's best restaurants and celebrated chefs such as The Gourmet Kid, That Meatball Place, Tutto Pazzo, Jewel Restaurant, and Seasons 52 and sips of the finest wines and brews.

This year's event honored Maureen Dibernardo, Sales Exec at Shiel Medical Laboratory, Jane Kranz, Internship Coordinator at TRI and Steven Cohn, Owner of Write It For Me - for their dedication and commitment to the cause, agency and the community.

While attendees tasted delectable deserts, they were entertained by Groove Squad's musical talents and were also able to participate in a raffle and silent auction during the evening. The support from this evening's event was tremendous and helped the CN Guidance & Counseling Services continue to provide services to over 5,000 Long Islanders annually - adults, children and families living with mental health and substance use disorders.
