Long Island Food Critic

The 8th Annual Taste of Rockville Centre was held on Friday, January 27th at the St. Agnes Cathedral Parish Center. The event is hosted by the Rockville Centre St. Patrick's Parade Committee which supports roughly 45 charities and has donated an estimated $676,000 to these charities throughout the years.

A number of charities benefit from this event including The Association For Children With Down Syndrome, Educated Canines Assisting With Disabilities and The Ronald McDonald House Of Long Island. T-shirts, sweatshirts, mugs and various other items were up for sale during the event to further benefit these deserving charities.

Lots of supportive guests were in attendance this evening and were treated to the best food, beverage and dessert the town has to offer, and all for a great cause. Many generous participating establishments were on hand donating their product and time to the event including Happy Hostess, which impressed attendees with their delicious eggplant rollatini, Gyro Boss, CJ's Coffee Shop and Front Street Pizzeria Cafe.
