The
Stuart Thomas Manor of Farmingdale hosted A Taste Of The Town benefiting the Yes Community
Counseling Center on Thursday, September 23, 2010. This intimate event featured a number
of local restaurants and specialty food and beverage establishments who offered their
culinary delights for a great cause.
The
Yes Community Counseling Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that has been assisting
and providing services to youth and families of the Massapequa, Plainedge and Farmingdale
areas since its birth in 1977. Each year this remarkable association aids thousands of
community members in need of their assistance.
A
number of generous establishments donated their time and their food for this event
including The Nutty Irishman, Irish Cottage, Salvatore’s, La Bottega, Mercato, Ciao
Baby, Cascarino's, Sherbrooke Cellars and The Culinary Academy Of Long Island.
Between
the delicious food, the tasty wines and delectable desserts, a great time was had by all
to raise money for the well-deserving Yes Community Counseling Center.
