A Taste Of Wantagh

We attended “A Taste Of Wantagh”, a fundraiser sponsored by the Wantagh Chamber Of Commerce (below) on Tuesday, September 23, 2008.  Proceeds will help with local beautification projects including the annual holiday displays.

Adelaide’s – Hibachi Shrimp and Braised Short Ribs

Aztec Emperor – Chicken Chimichangas with Sour Cream and Guacamole and Steak Ranchero

Brick & Rail – Party Mix Shrimp and Sugar Maple Skirt Steak

Cherrywood Café – Voodoo Chicken

Grandma’s Candy Kitchen / Hip Hop Sweet Shop – Chocolate Fountain and Chocolate Lollypops

Iavarone Bros. (below) – Orrechiette with Broccoli Rabe, Gaeta Olives and Iavarone’s Famous Crumbled Sausage, Mini-Maryland Style Lump Crab-Cakes, Capellini Croquettes with Marinara Dipping Sauce, Cornbread Apple & Cranberry Stuffed Breast of Chicken with Apricot Glaze

Johnny Malone’s – Chicken Francaise and Steak Teriyaki

Mulcahy’s – Buffalo Chicken Wings

Tennessee Jed’s (below) – St. Louis Ribs and Chili with Crackers

Thom Thom – Sushi Pizza and Scallops Wrapped in Bacon
