This year's "A Taste Of The Town" charity event was held on Thursday, March 27, 2014 to not only recognize and applaud the astounding work of the LIAF (Long Island Alzheimer's Foundation) but to also sample some of Long Island's most delectable cuisine and beverages from the Port Washington area. This event was held to help raise funds to benefit individuals with Alzheimer's and their families by making the public aware of what LIAF has to offer.
   Attendees enjoyed an assortment of everything from creamy cupcakes to mouth-watering sushi. Some of the restaurants, eateries, wine brands, & gourmet shops that provided tastings included Wings Plus, Salvatore's Pizzeria, Chocolate Works, Wild Honey, Moolala, Pearl East, Sweet Comfort and much more.
