The
Toast Of The Town in support of The United Cerebral Palsy Association Of Nassau County,
Inc was held at the Chateau Briand in Carle Place on Wednesday September 24, 2008.
The
United Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County, Inc (UCPN) was established in 1948 as
a small, outpatient health clinic by parents that wanted a better life for their children.
Today, almost six decades later, UCPN enjoys the distinction of being known as one of the
nation’s preeminent non-profit health agencies.
Every
year their “Toast of the Town” is quite a gourmet food and wine tasting extravaganza
with about forty restaurants, bakeries and wine and food establishments participating to
help raise funds for this most worthy cause.
This
