Men Who Cook

Men Who Cook was held at Blackwells Restaurant on Thursday, April 10, 2008, to benefit Women’s Services at St. Charles Hospital.  The evening featured food prepared by “local chefs."  Through the generosity of these chefs, guests were able to sample dozens of tastings.

Chef Ralph Antignano (below left) came with his signature roast loin of pork with raisin bread and apple stuffing that was fabulous. 

    

Chef David Hoey (above right - pictured with Stacy Hoey, his wife) brought sausage risotto that was moist and tasty. 

    

Host of the evening, Blackwells Restaurant owner Walter Hurney (above left - pictured with Chef Brian Burner) greatly pleased the guests with his Saddle of Lamb auPoivre that had a tender pink center accompanied by a flaky vegetable strudel (above right).
