Long Island Food Critic

The 8th Annual "A Taste of Port Jefferson" was held at the quaint Port Jefferson Village Center and was hosted by the Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce. With over 35 various local restaurants, eateries, wineries, and breweries in attendance this event is an exciting occasion for Long Islanders and visitors to experience the beauty of Port Jefferson while also sampling mouth-watering cuisine.

This year vendors were eagerly competing with each other to win Best Table Display, Best Food/Drink Presentation, and Favorite Signature Dish.

Smoke Shack Blues took home the Favorite Signature Dish whose smoked brisket left judges with an unanimous decision.

"A Taste of Port Jefferson" is a wonderful chance to experience the view of the ferries that have been traveling to Connecticut for hundreds of years while also tasting delicacies from Port Jefferson's most renown restaurants and other establishments.
